You can develop humor and comedy in your speech with:
- Vocal variety - saying something in an exaggerated voice adds to humor
- Surprise them - do something completely unexpected
- Interact with them - follow up with audience on their places of pain (e.g., Have you ever seen a boring presentation? Have you ever given a boring presentation? Have you ever given a boring presentation and didn't know it until a friend TOLD you you were giving a boring presentation? Have you ever lost a friend that way? Have you lost a LOT of friends?"
