Presentation Coach Jerry Weissman suggests your presentation slides are like the images shown over the shoulders of television news anchors. Just as with the television news anchors the images are there to support the anchor's points, so with your presentations the slides are there to support your points. Same as with news images, keep your slides very simple. Make sure the audience needs you to explain what they are seeing on the slide.
