Prop up your speech

Fellow speaker,

World Champion Speaker Darren LaCroix suggests you use props to prop up your speech's point. Think about your speech's point. What comes into your mind while your thinking about this point? How could a prop represent this speech point? For example, in Darren's speech he talked about the importance of speakers being like a sponge, soaking up all the information around them. To make this point in a prop, he handed out sponges to everyone in the audience. These sponges also had his branding information on it (tag line, name, contact information, web site, etc.).

Giving props,
