Professional speaker Rich Hopkins suggests you follow these tips to make sure your introduction talk before your speech is read correctly:
- Double - Have multiple copies of your introduction
- Large - Use a very large font (e.g., 20 point)
- Phonetics - Phonetically write out all the difficult words
- Track - Track down your introducer and make sure they have what they need and will read your introduction the way you have written it
- Encourage - Let them know they can do it and reading the introduction will make them look good
