According to Speaker Rich Hopkins there are different types of costuming:
- Subtle - Small costume change (e.g., in the middle of your speech, take out a pair of sunglasses and put them on)
- Hidden - Keep your costume hidden until you reveal it (e.g., you give a speech in a formal suit which you later tear off you to reveal t-shirt and blue jeans underneath)
