Built in inter-action

Fellow speaker,

According to Speaker Rich Hopkins, you can get audiences to interact in your activities if you:
  • Get them going - start with small activities that get them to meet and get comfortable with the people around them
  • Give them a "Why" - give your audience some reason for doing the activity, even if it's not the "lesson" of the activity
  • Respect personal space - avoid activities which involve a lot of group touching (e.g., hugging, high-fives, back rubs, etc.) since not everyone will feel comfortable doing these things
  • Give the lesson - after the activity give an explanation of what the activity accomplished and how your audience can use the lesson of the activity in their lives
Inter-actively,
