Speech introductions made easy

Fellow speaker,

Here's an easy, step by step way to create great speaker introductions (i.e., pre-speech introductions) that hook your audience before you say a word:
  1. Question that focuses on the audience's pain point that your speech solves (e.g., "Have you ever had a problem in creating a connection to the high ranking people you need to know to advance your career?"
  2. Make you (the speaker) similar to the audience (e.g., "Our next speaker has had the same problem.")
  3. You learn from someone else (e.g., "Using the advice of his business mentor Frank he learned how a simple process for making business connections to the right people at the right time.")
  4. Your audience will learn what you learned (e.g., "Today you will learn this simple process for finding, engaging, and meeting the business people you need to know to advance your career."
  5. Audience will gain the abilities the speaker has (e.g., "Using this method, you, too, can make the business connections you need when you need them.")
  6. Announce the speaker (e.g., "Please join in welcoming our next speaker, Bob Reynolds!")
