High contrast

Fellow speaker,

When creating slides for your presentation, if you want any of your information to "stick out" so the audience focuses on that area of your slide (e.g., you have a graph of information and you want the audience to focus on one part of the graph), use a contrasting color. Contrasting colors are:
  • Blue and orange (popular with movie posters)
  • Purple and yellow
  • Red and green (warning: may look too "Christmasy")
