In the spotlight

Fellow speaker,

When giving your speech, imagine there is a spotlight shining on the audience. Then the spotlight shifts to you onstage, then back to the audience, then to you onstage, etc. This is the effect you want to create with your speeches: focus on the audience first, then turn the attention to you, then back to the audience, then to you again, constantly shifting the light back and forth during your speech, and finishing with the attention on your audience.

Well-lit,
