Keep it clear

Fellow speaker,

If you are doing a presentation, remove all the "noise" from your graphics. "Noise" is all the unnecessary lines, figures, etc. that don't add meaning to your presentation. Put in all the information your audience needs to instantly understand the purpose of the graphic. See the difference between these two examples - note how much clearer and "less noisy" the message is in the second graphic:
