Finding just the right words

Fellow speaker,

To make your words effective to your audience, make them:
  • Simple - no jargon and with only a few syllables - "Our new PDA has a new size"
  • Specific - phrases are specific and suggest touching the thing you are describing - "It's a PDA that is easy to hold and carry for long distances."
  • Emotional - adjectives that carry emotion - "It is so easy to hold you will feel like hugging this new PDA."
Effectively,
