According to professional speaker Patricia Fripp, you can transition in your speech through:
- Silence - be silent when you are moving from one point to the next
- Movement - if on the stage move on the stage to indicate moving from one point to the next; if behind a lectern, gesture to indicate when changing from one point to the next
- Number - indicate each step or number (e.g., "The first step is..." or "Number one is..."
