Fellow speaker,
A few things to think about when creating an introduction:
- Create a different introduction for each speech you give - focus the introduction on supporting the points you make in your speech
- Make it less than a page - long, rambling introductions will bore the audience
- Put it into 24 point type - make it very easy for your introducer to see
- Use "..." to indicate places to pause
- Use bold type for words you want the introducer to "punch"
Introducing,
