Fellow speaker,
To involve your audience and get them to connect and "buy in" to what your speech is about, when you make a point, ask your audience, either "Would you agree with that?" or "Do you agree with that?". "Would you agree..." is the more gentle approach, while "Do you agree..." is more direct. Make sure you are making a point that people WILL agree with. If you ask it and people don't agree...then you have a problem.
