Panel pre-event

Fellow speaker,

When you create a panel, you also want to give and discuss with the panel the vision for the panel purpose (ideally on a pre-event conference call):
  1. Outcome - what do you want the panel to provide?
  2. Choice - why did you pick these particular people for the panel?
  3. Discussion - what is the way you plan to keep the discussion moving and avoid duplicate answers?
  4. Length - how long should each person speak and/or answer a question?  when will a panelist be cut off in the middle of their talk/answer?
  5. Setting - what do they need to know about where the panel event will occur (e.g., special room information, etc.)
