Panel points

Fellow speaker,

When creating a panel which you will be moderating, write out an overview of what you will say:
  1. Opening - hook to grab attention of audience
  2. Purpose - reason why the panel was created
  3. Roadmap - how the panel will work (including when and how the audience can ask questions of the panel)
  4. Introductions - in the opening or each person provides a brief (30-60 second), relevant summary of their credentials and relevance on the panel)
  5. Questions - plant some questions in the audience and have some questions of your own to ask as well
  6. Final thoughts - give a broad question that allows panelists to give their final thoughts on the subject
  7. Additional resources - share additional resources where the audience can get information
  8. Wrap up - leave a final thought that captures the audience's interest and sums up the panel's purpose
  9. Evaluation - ask the audience to fill out the evaluation form
Step by step,

Tim
