I object!

Fellow speaker,

Addressing your opponents' objections, called procatalepsis, is a very powerful way to persuade your audience.  Use the "you" to connect with your audience and then list their best arguments to your points.  For example, "You might be thinking, "Tim, this has nothing to do with me.  I don't have a car so your point about the car doesn't matter to me."  This is about more than a car..."
