To make your speech more exciting to your audience, paint them a picture, using your words as the paint and your speech as the canvas. For example, "You may be faced with the police as barricades or the law as a shield to the wrongdoers, who try to hide behind these. Yet the light of justice will shine on them no matter how many barricades or shield they they try to hide behind."
