When speaking to someone from a different culture who might have ways that are foreign to you:
- Be careful about direct eye contact - some cultures consider directly looking in someone's eyes is rude
- May not get the reactions you expect - some cultures do not show how the talk affects them, so your audience may show little or no reaction to your words
- Question and answer sessions may not be possible - some cultures consider it rude to question the presenter's authority and so won't ask any questions of the presenter
