To develop yourself as a speaker, drill down into your speaking ability and work to specialize. A simple way to specialize is to identify your industry, niche, and identity. For example, I am in the speaking industry, in the speech coaching niche, and have an identity of helping any speaker go from good to great and from great to greater.
