Persuasion - Part 2

Fellow speaker,

To persuade secondly identify the causes of the problem:
  • Limit the number of causes - talk about a few causes of the problem
  • Logically link the causes to the problem - make the logical connections to the problem clear
  • Be sensitive to the audience while arguing the causes - if the problem is partly the responsibility of your audience, be careful about how you point out the audience's responsibility - personalize the causes while not attacking the audience
