Two ways of leading

Fellow speaker,

Speaking Coach Jerry Weissman suggests when doing presentations you could lead into the next slide with a(n):
  • Direct lead - assumes you know the content of the next slide (e.g., "Now let's take a closer look at last year's sales..."
  • Indirect lead - if you are not certain what the next slide contains (e.g., "There are many factors that affect our decision...")
