Keep it simple

Fellow speaker,

At the end of your speech, give a simple next step for the audience to take. Make it easy enough that the audience can easily do it and ensure it is the next step for them to take to develop themselves in the way your talk suggests. For example, if you are giving a speech on how to have a happier life, you could end with. "And remember, if you want to start having a happier life...just smile!"
