Getting involved

Fellow speaker,

Scriptwriter Michael Hague suggests you can get your audience involved in your story by using:
  1. Superior position - tell the audience something that the story character in the story doesn't know
  2. Anticipation - audience then is eager to know what is going to happen next in the story
  3. Curiosity - this gets the audience curious about what you're characters are going to do next
  4. Surprise - the characters do something the audience did not expect
