Speaker Coach Fred Miller suggests you arrive early, stand on the platform or area you will be speaking, and picture the place full of your audience. Now make sure the audience will be able to see you from where they are sitting. If certain chairs indicate the person will have difficulty viewing them, adjust the seating.
