Presentation professor Andrew Abela suggests if you have a board room presentation with comparison data which is unchanging with one or two variables you use one of two types of charts:
One variable - Bar chart
Two variables - Variable Width Column charts
One variable - Bar chart
Two variables - Variable Width Column charts
