- Ball room presentations are about a "big idea" while board room presentations require lots of detail
- Ball room presentations are made by the presenter from the stage while board room presentations involve lots of audience activities and interaction
- Ball room presentations are projected while board room presentations are on hand outs that are provided in advance
- Ball room presentations are made in hotels while board room presentations are made in conference rooms and board rooms
