When using statistics in your speech:
- Compare - compare the unknown statistic to something the audience knows well (e.g., "Four out of five dentists recommend...")
- Storytell - tell a story about what the statistic means (e.g., "He is just one out of the 1,000,000 people who will find out this year they have AFIB.")
- Time it - show the change of the statistic over time
