World Champion Speaker Darren LaCroix suggests using a "transition phrase" for when you need to move from one place on the stage to another. For example, if you are talking about the timeline of your life and you finish up your story about your early life, you could use the phrase "Fast forward 20 years..." while you are walking to your audience's right (House Right).
