- Prepare half - prepare half the material you usually would for your time slot
- Write out your talk - send the interpreters either a transcription of the talk you will do or a transcription of a talk similar to the talk you will do
- Explain idioms and metaphors - often idioms and metaphors that work in your language won't work in the language you are presenting so the interpreters will have to create similar idioms and metaphors appropriate to both your talk and to their language
