Skeletons in the story

Fellow speaker,

World Champion Speaker Craig Valentine suggests you can create a "skeletal story" in five sentences of:
  1. Circumstance
  2. Conflict
  3. Cure
  4. Change
  5. Carryout
For example, "I wanted to create a good story. I struggled for years, talking to many people and still didn't know how to tell a story. One day my friend Bob told me, "A story consists of characters that are seen, known, and heard." I started using this method and found it easy to create good stories for all my speeches. When creating your story, remember that a character needs to be seen, known, and heard."
