Gesture posture

Fellow speaker,

There are four types of gestures you can use to get your audience engaged in your speech:
  • Descriptive (shows how something looks)
  • Emphatic (gives emphasis to a point)
  • Suggestive (suggests the meaning of what you are talking about)
  • Prompting (encourages audience engagement)
