Characteristically

Fellow speaker,

World Champion Speaker Craig Valentine suggests ways to give hints about how your characters look:
  • Dialog - one person says something about the other character (e.g., "Woh!  You are TALL!")
  • Posture - show with your body how the character looked (e.g., limp a little while saying, "Getting kind of hard to get around these days!")
  • Voice - give a SLIGHT difference to your voice that indicates a different voice for the character (e.g., [a little raspily] "I have a slight cold.")
Character-izing,
