World Champion Speaker Craig Valentine has a method of speaking that allows your audience to be psychic! He calls this method "projected dialogue". Since a look says a thousand words, Craig suggests you share some of those words with your audience. The key phrase to use is "looked...as if to say/like...". Here are some examples:
- He looked at me as if to say, “…”
- She’s looking at me like, “…”
- She glanced back at me like she wanted to say, “…”
For example, "He looked at me as if to say, 'You're an idiot!' "
