A little present for the audience

Fellow speaker,

According to educational psychologist Dr. Richard Mayer, people learn best when presentations:
  • Combine words and pictures in one slide
  • Speak your points in depth to the audience rather than putting your points in depth on your slide
  • Keep all content in the slide focused on the message of your speech
  • Direct the audience's eye (using an arrow, circle, etc.) to the area they are supposed to pay attention to
