I've got a question...

Fellow speaker,

When asking a question of your audience:
  1. Simple - give a simple question that people can easily understand...even if the question requires a lot of thought (e.g., "What are you going to do with the rest of your life?")
  2. Responsive - let your audience know how you want them to respond (e.g., "Think about that question for awhile.")
  3. Apply - use the question to help the audience get into your speech (e.g., "If you've ever wondered about what to do with the rest of your life, your not alone.  Most people never think about...")
Questioning,
