- Dialogue - the end of a conversation between you and someone else brings up the next subject to discuss
- Talent - use singing, magic acts, or some other special talent as a way to link up your topics
- Visualizing a diagram - instead of handouts, describe a simple diagram to your audience and step them through the different parts of the diagram - each step is a transition point
