If you want to tell a tall tale:
- Watch movies that have tall tales in them (e.g., Big Fish)
- Pick a quotation and create a tall tale based on the wording of the quotation or to make that quotation a punch line
- Write down frustrating things that happen to you and develop ridiculous solutions to them
