Say it silly!

Fellow speaker,

A simple way to practice vocal variety is to say something in a normal way, then say it over and over again, each time varying the pitch more and more.  For example, say "Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their party."  Say it again and sing every other word.  Say it again and make every other sung word louder or softer.  Etc.

Saying it strange,
