Mass transit


Fellow speaker,

Here are some ways to transition in your speech:
  1. Bridge Words/Phrases – Furthermore, meanwhile, however, in addition, consequently, finally
  2. Trigger – Repeated use of same word/idea: “An example is...A similar example is…”
  3. Question – “Have you…?”
  4. Flashback – “Do you remember hearing …?”
  5. Point-By-Point – “That is the first point, Plan Carefully.  The next point..."
