There is a system of learning called 4Mat which suggests that your audience will listen in one of four different ways:
- Meaning - Key question "Why?" - looking for meaning
- Concepts - Key question "What?" - understanding the concepts
- Skills - Key question "How?" - building and developing skills
- Adaptation - Key question "If?" - looking for all possible applications of the information
