When using a projector to project your slide presentation, it can be easy to accidentally step in front of the projector and cast a shadow, both distracting the audience and making it hard for the audience to see your presentation. To help make you aware of the area where the projector is projecting, put masking tape on the floor around the area where the projector is projecting. This will remind you that if you step over the tape, you will cast a shadow on the projector screen.
