To get your point across to your audience, tell them both what you are not talking about and what you are talking about. Compare and contrast your points so the audience "zeros in on" your topic. For example, "I come here not to talk to the rich 1% living high above everyone in their lofty towers. I come here to talk to the other 99%, with their feet on the ground, who have to live with the consequences of their actions."
