Aside from that

Fellow speaker,

When you are speaking to your audience, you can also speak something a little off-topic, but related, to someone specific in the audience.  This is called an "aside".  For example, if you are talking about gym membership and you know Sue is a yoga instructor, you can say, "Most people who buy a gym membership won't actually use that membership beyond the first few weeks.  Then they will cancel and never renew their membership.  [directly to Sue] Sorry Sue."
