Fellow speaker,
When you use the "you" (use the word "you") in your speech, it is helpful to avoid using what World Champion Speaker Craig Valentine calls the "hard you". That is where "you" becomes a way of telling people (e.g., "you need to...", "you must..." etc.). Instead use the "soft you" and invite people to do things, "you might benefit from...", "this could be helpful to you...", "it is useful if you...". Using the "soft you" will win your audience over to your side.
You-ing,
Tim
