Give early and often

Fellow speaker,

Make sure you give your introduction as early as you can to the person who will be introducing you, ideally weeks in advance.  This way they will have plenty of time to read it over and be prepared.  Also have a spare copy of your introduction in case the person forgets it or loses it.
