World Champion Speaker Craig Valentine suggests saying "Good question!" (or something like that) if the audience member asks a good question. Craig's thinking is that anyone who gets upset that you said "Good question!" to someone else and not to them is someone who takes things way too personally and will most likely find some other flaw in your speech anyway.
