But out!

Fellow speaker,

Instead of using "but", use "and" or reduce the one sentence into two separate sentences.  For example, instead of saying, "I know some of you are thinking this is too much work, but this is what you have to do to get results."  Say instead, "I know some of you are thinking this is too much work.  This is what you have to do to get results."
