To persuade with your speech use:
- Causal - clearly show the effect and the cause of your speech topic. For example, if talking about the damage caused by tax increases, first show the damaging effects of tax increases, then show how these effects come because of tax increases.
- Compare/contrast - give different examples of solutions to a problem, and highlight one solution as better than all the others
- Problem-solution - identify a problem and give a solution to that problem
