In order for your righting to make an "impact" on your audience, it needs to be "dense". "Dense" writing is writing that clearly communicates what you have to say. To speak "densely":
- Give precise information - for example, instead of saying it was "cold" describe how cold it was
- Give logically linked information - make sure the information is relevant to the subject and that the audience clearly sees how the information relates to the subject, one way to do this is to put the two pieces of linked information close together in the speech
